A big thank you to the Warwick Town Community Forum and the National Lottery which provided funds to help remove the fallen willow and add the top dressing to the all persons path!

Myton Pool Needs

           YOU!

Join us on Saturday

14th September at

10am for our late

Summer working party

to strim the wild flower

meadow and generally

tidy up before Autumn.

We will be leaving the

strimmed flowers in situ to drop their seeds for next

year’s show and some will be left intact so that mini beasts have somewhere to overwinter.

If you have a wheelbarrow and rake, please bring those along with gloves.

Coffee and cake will follow!

Our scarecrow making competition on 8th September was a huge success! A big thank you to all those who made a scarecrow and also those who came to see them on display!

Here are a few of the offerings… from Where’s Wally to an Austrian hiker …

Our tenth anniversary working party, barbecue and live music event was a great success thanks to you!  It was wonderful to have lots of new and not so new faces at our community working party on Saturday 14th July.

Myton Pool’s seasonal maintenance is solely achieved through local volunteers so your support is greatly appreciated.  The edges of the paths were strimmed and cleared, and over-enthusiastic foliage trimmed back to ensure that the pool area is accessible for all.

What a magnificent day was had on Sunday 19th May when we welcomed the guided walk visitors from Foundry Wood to Myton Pool!  We learned much about the history of the area between Foundry Wood and Myton Pool and enjoyed some homemade cake and coffee.  Thank you to all those who helped set up and provide refreshments on the day. And a special thank you to Martin and Heather Haslett who led the guided walk.

Some photos of the guided walk are below.
